This  interface cable, along with the software program will turn your PC into sophisticated diagnostic tool, which performs the same functions as the dealers' own tools.

This cable will work with most Volkswagen and Audi models sold World-Wide 1994 through 2004. It will work with some cars all the way back to model year 1990 and up to 2005. If your VW or Audi has a 16-pin "OBD-II style" Data Link Connector,  this cable will definitely work. An adaptor for the 4-pin old Audi Diagnostic connector is also available (R75). The 409.1 will not work with 2005-2007 vehicles that use the CAN Protocol, this requires a later version of Vag com (Available on request).

 This VAG COM Cable will only work with the VAG COM V409.1 Software provided by ROSS-TECH. (Demo version shipped with interface) It will not work with the generic OBD2 Software (ObdScan, Digimoto etc), or later versions of the VAG COM Software.The serial interface shown in the picture is available on request, but a USB interface is normally shipped.
